Safety

Safety is the foundation,
not a feature.

Every flight is operated under strict international standards, vetted operators and a safety culture that puts preparation before convenience. From aircraft selection to ground security, every detail is managed with a disciplined, documented process.

01 · Safety philosophy

A disciplined, documented safety culture.

We treat every trip as a risk-management exercise, not just a transfer from A to B. CorsoJet follows a strict internal safety framework built around conservative decision-making, redundant checks, and transparent communication with your team. When conditions change — weather, NOTAMs, slot restrictions or airfield performance — we act early, present options, and never compromise safety to save an itinerary.

  • We work only with operators holding valid Air Operator Certificates and third-country approvals where required.
  • Aircraft and crews are selected based on mission profile, runway performance and current conditions — not just price.
  • Safety decisions are escalated quickly to senior charter advisors and, when needed, to the operator's safety manager.
  • You receive clear explanations when we advise against a certain routing, runway or timing.

02 · Vetted operators

Only certified operators. No exceptions.

CorsoJet does not arrange unsafe or uncertified flights. We work with a select network of European and international air carriers that hold valid Air Operator Certificates and maintain rigorous internal safety management systems. Where available, we prioritise operators audited under internationally recognised standards.

  • All partner operators hold AOCs issued by competent aviation authorities in their jurisdictions.
  • Preference for operators with documented Safety Management Systems (SMS) and regular external audits.
  • Strict checks on aircraft registration, insurance, and crew currency before every mission.
  • No grey charter, no ad-hoc owner flights, no compromise on documentation.

03 · Crews & training

Experienced crews for demanding missions.

The quality of the crew is just as important as the quality of the aircraft. For every flight, we verify that your mission is flown by pilots and cabin crew with appropriate experience, training and route knowledge.

  • Minimum hour thresholds for captains and first officers, tailored to aircraft category and mission type.
  • Recurrent simulator training and checking in line with EASA and operator requirements.
  • Crew duty and rest limits monitored by the operator to avoid fatigue-related risk.
  • For complex missions — mountain airports, challenging airfields — preference for crews with proven local experience.

04 · Maintenance

Maintenance you never have to think about.

Behind every smooth flight is a disciplined maintenance program. The operators we select maintain their aircraft according to manufacturer programmes and regulator-approved schedules, using certified maintenance organisations only.

  • Maintenance performed by Part-145 / approved maintenance organisations on all European aircraft.
  • Strict adherence to manufacturer maintenance schedules and airworthiness directives.
  • Continuous monitoring of technical status and MEL (Minimum Equipment List) before dispatch.
  • Only aircraft with appropriate de-icing, navigation and performance capabilities are assigned to your route and season.

05 · Personal security

Discreet security, on the ground and in the air.

Many of our clients travel with sensitive schedules, high-profile principals and critical cargo. We coordinate closely with operators, FBOs and, where required, specialist security partners to keep movements discreet and controlled.

  • Discreet FBO selection and private terminal handling wherever available.
  • Optional secure ground transportation and close protection through vetted partners.
  • Itinerary details shared strictly on a need-to-know basis.
  • All client data handled under strict confidentiality and modern data protection standards.

06 · Risk management

We say “no” when it is the safest answer.

Our role is to protect your interests, not to sell you a flight at any cost. If runway performance, weather, duty limits or operational constraints make a routing marginal, we will recommend alternatives — larger aircraft, different airports, updated schedules — and explain the trade-offs clearly.

  • Conservative approach to performance-limited airports and short runways.
  • Early re-routing when weather or slot constraints impact your itinerary.
  • Clear documentation of any operational limitations before you confirm a flight.
  • 24/7 availability of a senior charter advisor for time-critical decisions.

07 · Compliance & legal

Transparent structure. Clear responsibility.

CorsoJet operates as an international air charter broker and air carrier through legally distinct entities. Each flight is contracted with the appropriate licensed operator, and all responsibilities are defined clearly in your documentation.

  • CorsoJet LLC acts as an air charter broker and does not operate aircraft.
  • European flights may be operated by CorsoJet Limited as an air carrier under its Maltese AOC, or by other licensed operators where appropriate.
  • U.S.-registered aircraft are operated exclusively by properly licensed U.S. direct air carriers.
  • All documentation clearly states the operator of record and applicable regulatory authority for your flight.
